Las Granadas is five minutes drive from Mijas village and approximately 10 minutes from Fuenguirola. The nearest airport is Malaga which is a 30-minute drive as are the resorts of Marbella and Puerto Banús in the opposite direction towards Gibraltar.

The picturesque village of Mijas provides various shops, bars, cafés, many restaurants and banks. There is also a bullring and donkey rides. Mijas has been voted the most picturesque village in Southern Spain.

The International Tennis Club of Lew Hoad is a 10 minute drive away.

There are various beaches within 12 km of the villas.

The nearby Alhaurín Golf and Country Club boasts a challenging 18 hole golf course and a 9 hole par 3 and driving range.

Other nearby activities include go-karting and water sports. There is an aquatic park 15 minutes away with water slides, wave machines, outdoor pools, etc. There is also an amusement park with roller coasters, etc.

The villas are ideally situated for visiting historic southern Andalucía. The ancient towns of Ronda, Granada, Seville and Cadiz are within driving distance. The famous Alhambra Palace is about a 1½ hour drive away.

Gibraltar is a popular day trip.

The playboys' playgrounds of Marbella and Puerto Banús are about a 30 minute drive away.
